Every Pictures Tells A Story

::10-03-05::

Have you seen some advertisement on television where a guy sitting in a crowded LRT puts his things on the empty seat next to him. Then an old lady comes nearby and give some signal to him to take his stuff away so she can sit however he grudgingly though he moved his stuff away.

After that at the first stop, a pregnant woman stands in front of him, but the man ignores her. Instead, it is the old lady who gives up her seat then.

Later, a blind man join scene. As sson as the man sees this blind man, he start closes his eyes and pretend to sleep. Seeing what this man doing, the pregnant woman gives up her seat for the blind man.

Suddenly, a box from this selfish man falls on to the floor. He has trouble to pick it up, so the blind man sitting next to him picks it up for him. Due to that situation, all the people around him come stares of disbelief and possibly disgust at this man, who is now feeling - oh so small and embarrased on what he did.

This advertisement is part of a nationwide campaign called "Courtesy and Noble Values Campaign"- Kempen Budi Bahasa . It aims to encourage Malaysians from all walks of life to be more courteous to one another, and to inculcate good values in everyone.

What i am so impressed with this clip is there's hardly any dialogue in the clip, but it still speaks volumes as the message it gives the audience is very clear.

Believe it or not, what is being presented in the advertisement was a reality though. I've seen a lot of this scenario during my early day when i used to have LRT as my main transportation to go to my office. Thank God i prefer to stand up beside the door rather than be sitting...hehe. By the way, it was a really good to launch such a campaign like this because as a Malaysian citizen, we're always known as a person full of courtesy and noble values by outsiders and we should be proud and remains that perception forever...:)

Will update again later.

Chowing guys!
